Conjured Blind
This suite of imagery explores Torluemke’s psychological blind paintings. The initial drawings are made with the artist’s eyes closed. Paint is applied with eyes open as the artist contends with the result of the drawings. An apt metaphor for life placing things in front of us that we might not want to contend with.
