Linda Warren Projects, Chicago April, 26 through June 13, 2015
These paintings are near-abstract with clues of representation that hint towards a narrative; some more obvious than others, much like a dramatic mystery; bright and loose, very fluid, painted flat on a horizontal surface and smeared into recognition. The color palette is coerced into symbolically supporting the mood of the work.
